BJ: Concept Development - Plot Synopsis

Plot

Audrey Hepburn, typical 60's
woman

    Bonnie and Clyde
  • Our film will be set in the 1960's in England, so we need to be careful and accurate with the costumes we choose.
  • The film will centre around a married couple, who together commit multiple murders and continue to get away. We were inspired to have this sort of plot by Bonnie and Clyde
  • The scene opening with a police interrogation of the female suspect by two police officers, one a plain clothed dectective and the other a police officer in uniform for protection, in an old warehouse.
  • The female, dressed in classy clothes for the period, nonchalantly answers police questions about her murders with no remorse, showing psychopathic and sociopathic qualities.
  • During the interrogation, the audience are presented with flashbacks of the murders she and her husband, who is not named, committed. Half of the murders are described by her and the other half we will let the pictures describe what happened.
  • There is also intercutting between the interrogation and the man, her husband, arriving at the warehouse to come and save his wife.
  • Then the husband bursts through the warehouse door just as the police present the wife with a picture of him asking if she knows this man.
  • The husband then murders both policeman and takes his wife away.
Titles

We want the titles to be in a classy, stylish font yet still shows the conventions of horror in some way. This would mean using photoshop to change font colours and manipulate it in a way we see fit. We also would like a font that is indicative of the time period.

This is a pontential font that we could manipulate to be more indicative of the horror genre, but we like it because it is classy and old fashioned.

  1. Well considered research into potential plot. However, as we discussed, you will need to research historical period very carefully to proceed with this idea.
